Yuriko Yamaguchi (actress, voice actress, and narrator) — known for roles such as Ritsuko Akagi (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and Nico Robin (One Piece).
Call for Participants: Help Create 'The Sacred Pine of Life'!
In Japan, it has long been believed that gods reside in pine trees. That’s why an aged pine (ōmatsu) is traditionally painted on the backdrop of the Noh stage, where sacred performances are offered to the deities. Evergreen and resilient, the pine tree is a symbol of longevity and good fortune.
Express the brilliance of life by designing your own sacred pine leaf — a symbol of divine blessing and hope!

How to Receive Your Pine Leaf Template
If you wish to participate, please contact Yamamoto Noh Theater by email or phone.
You may pick up your pine leaf template at the theater.
For groups of 20 or more (e.g., schools or companies), we can send the templates by mail.

Feel free to use colored paper, crayons, pens, paint — any medium you like!
Once your design is complete, allow it to dry, then package it carefully and send it to the address below:
