Six months until the Expo! Kickoff Performance
“The Circle of Water” is a new Noh play created in Water Metropolis Osaka.
Since its premiere in 2009, it has been repeatedly performed both in Japan and overseas, conveying the message of “the importance of water” through the power of Noh play.
As a kick-off performance for the six-month period leading up to the Expo, the show will be performed on October 13 and 14.

*In case of rain, the event will be held at Yamamoto Noh Theater

We are looking for children to join as water birds!
We are recruiting elementary school students to participate in the performance. The children will practice Noh in three pre-performance workshops and create their costumes under the guidance of artist Shinta Inoue.
Participation is free. Number of participants: 20 *First-come, first-served basis. Enrollment will close once the maximum number is reached.
