SYNOPSIS
Raikou falls ill with an unknown cause, and Kocho comes to see him with medicine. After Kocho leaves, a suspicious monk appears and attacks Raikou by throwing spider threads. Raikou immediately pulled out his famous sword “Hizamaru” and slashed at the monk, causing the monk to disappear. Raikou told his retainers who were startled by the noise and rushed over, what had happened and ordered them to pursue and attack. His retainers followed the trail of blood and arrived at Mt. Katsuragi. When they dig up the old mound, the ground spider spirit appears and attacks. The retainers fight to the death and finally defeat the ground spider spirit and return to the capital in triumph.
